	ers from across Australia and New Zealand!\nJoin same-sex attracted sculle
	rs (past and present) from rowing clubs across Australia and New Zealand a
	t Albert Park Lake for a weekend of sculling skills development under the 
	guidance of one of Victoria's most experienced coaches. Help us build a st
	rong regional network of gay &amp\; lesbian rowers whilst building our ski
	lls with the oars. The focus will be on technical improvement primarily in
	 singles\, although some crewed sessions may be incorporated. Scullers wil
	l be streamed according to ability and activities will encompass sessions 
	on-water\, real-time video ergo feedback\, tailored training programs\, ba
	sic rigging\, and a health &amp\; wellbeing seminar. Additionally\, there 
	will be a dinner with a guest speaker on Saturday night and a workshop on 
	ways we can increase the level of participation by same-sex attracted peop
	le in rowing.\nAfter a weekend of rowing - we can 'cool down' at the T Dan
	ce at Midsumma Carnival!\nThis event is coordinated by Melbourne Argonauts
	 Queer Rowing Club in association with Rowing Victoria and Midsumma and is
	 made possible by support from the 1st Asia Pacific Outgames Legacy Fund. 
	 \nPlease note that this activity is not appropriate for beginners or peo
	ple with less than one year’s sculling experience in crewed boats or six
	 months in a single. Beginners are encouraged to attend the Melbourne Argo
	nauts Midsumma Event 'Splash &amp\; Giggle' on 7 February 2010. Places are
	 limited. The Saturday night dinner will be open to a wider group. The org
	anisers reserve the right to hold a number of available places open to ens
	ure an adequate representation of female athletes and athletes from outsid
	e the Melbourne metropolitan area. Depending on circumstance\, limited fin
	ancial assistance may be available for athletes who travel from Queensland
