   Come to Des Moines, Iowa this September for our Head of Des Moines Regatta. It is a sanctioned event held in the 3rd state to legalize Marriages for Gays and Lesbians. While the Des Moines Rowing Club is a straight oriented club, they have been very welcoming of me and have made me the Co-Director of the Regatta for the next two years. Hope to see some of you there!

   The Los Angeles Rowing Club will host it's Fall Learn To Row classes 26 - 27 September 2009 from 08:00h to 12:00h.
    
   A barbeque will follow the Sunday class for all participants.
