At Ready, Row! USA, Pride Month is all about inclusion and opportunity, celebrating our differences, and supporting your friends & teammates in this amazing sport.
We hope rowing clubs will listen in as we offer tips on how to support pride month and how to make your club or program more inclusive and accepting.
Guests include Aquil Abdullah, Olympic and Hydrow athlete. Hydrow's virtual reality rowing features 8 workouts, one for each color of the Pride flag (hydrow.com). Also invited is Brian Todd, founder and executive director of the Gay & Lesbian Rowing Federation. You may have seen him at regattas or the USRowing convention, inviting people to sign the Rower's Pledge (glrf.org).
