GLRF hosts a social at the Seitensprung Bistro in celebration of the 2004 Eurogames Muniche Rowing Regatta and the launch of the Gay + Lesbian Rowing Federation presence on the European Continent.

GLRF has scheduled a series of City Launch events to create awareness of GLRF among gay and lesbian rowers and to create greater awareness of rowing among the gay and lesbian community in each City.

In association with the City Launch event is our Ready All Boats! 2004 Awareness Campaign GLRFReadyAllBoats_23Dec03.pdf that is designed to foster interest in forming boats for the major gay and lesbian regattas planned for 2006. Each City Launch will be conducted in association with a local rowing club or boathouse to help promote rowing in the local community.

Each event will vary depending on the venue and rowing event. Some City Launch Events will be held during the day while others will be a social event at a local bar. All rowers are invited to attend and participate.

So use it as an excuse to spend a long weekend with your fav friends or special betty to hang out, and to see what’s cookin’ somewhere else.
