The Royal Dutch Rowing Federation (KNRB) is sponsoring a tug-powered pontoon barge (21.4m x 4.5m) in the 2016 Canal Parade through the Amsterdam canals during Amsterdam Gay Pride. The theme of the boat is 'Join our freedom, feel free to join us!'
These "floats" in the Amsterdam pride parade are large flat barges that can accommodate up to 100 people! Check out this link that explains the details of the Canal Parade. The KNRB boat is number 37 on the list. Everyone gets decked out in their best gay pride outfits and dances on the barges as it glides through the Amsterdam canals. The boat is stocked with liquor and is included in the ticket price.

The canal parade is a world famous feature of the Amsterdam Gay Pride event, and this year it will be even bigger because the European Europride event will be taking place in conjunction with Amsterdam Gay Pride.
Europride is a pan-European international event dedicated to LGBT pride, hosted by a different European city each year. The host city is usually one with an established gay pride event or a significant LGBT community.
