GLRF is excited to share this event with the gay and lesbian rowing community:

The Boston Rainbow Row

Friday, 31 May 2019

08h00

Charles River

http://www.glrf.info/glrfimages/RAINBOWROW_CRI_HydroRowsm.jpg and Community Rowing, Inc. (CRI). The event is timed to coincide with the start of Pride month in Boston.

All rowers are invited to participate by forming boats and participating in the pride row. Contact GLRF (rowing@glrf.info) if you would like to row in a boat or rent a boat.

Boats will gather upstream of the North Beacon Street bridge for a moment of unity and a group photograph (from North Beacon Street bridge looking towards CRI), and from there, the boats will head downstream, in a boat pride parade, to the Arsenal Street bridge. Following the parade, boats will congregate at CRI for an off the water meet and greet.

All participants will receive commemorative t-shirts and rowers are welcome to wear whatever suits them, costumes, harnesses, (hats, As in the Queen attending Ascot?), to help make the event full of pride and acceptance and inclusion!

Please share the attached poster with friends, rowers, and boathouses!
