Regular registration for the 2025 Sin City Erg will close on 20 Dec 2024 – US$55 participant fee and unlimited entries.  Late registration will begin on 21 Dec 2024 and run through 18 Jan 2025 – US$65 participant fee and unlimited entries. 

Use the Seat Search feature to find teammates for the team events.  One has already posted.  Thinking about going? Follow the listing in Regasttas+ to get updates on all new seat search entries, comments, images, and members going.

The Seat Search feature went live on Friday, 13 Dec 2024.  Automatically available with every listing in Regattas+, Seat Search enables rowers and clubs to find boats at a regatta with open seats.  The Rower Seat Search allows a rower to announce their availability for one or several events at a regatta.  The Club Seat Search enables a rowing club or programme to fill a boat that may be shy of one or two rowers at a regatta. 

Wish you could race in a regatta but your club isn’t sending a boat? Follow the Regattas+ listing or add your own, and then submit a seat search!

Help us grow our community.  Earn a free Gay + Lesbian Rowing Federation (GLRF) Rower Pride t-shirt for every 5 registered referrals. 

To make a referral, login and use the Tell A Friend block on the GLRF home page, by clicking on Email or Share, or click on your Userid and select ‘Account Settings.’  On the left side of the page is a block that has 'Overview’ in black.  Below you will see 'Referrals.' Click on it and copy the code and send it to your friends. Anyone who registers will appear below under 'Your Referrals.'

The annual OnTheWater upgrade of US$20 will end on 31 Dec 2024.  If you upgrade for automatic renewal before the end of the year, you will be able to lock in that fee for your membership lifetime.

For current OnTheWater members with recurring billing, you are all set.  For those who have a manual upgrade, you will need to renew your membership before it expires to retain the US$20 price.

Starting on 01 Jan 2025, the OnTheWater upgrade will be US$45, for both annual and recurring billing. 

The OnTheWater upgrade is a great way to help GLRF with our ongoing website expenses and community promotion.  The upgrade allows any GLRF member to use the extensive search feature on the platform, as well as use a 15% discount for Shop At GLRF purchases.  OnTheWater also allows a user to see the member profiles in a country, region, and metroarea.

Help us build our Share A Link database by adding your rowing club!  It’s easy. Just login and click on the Add Link button.  Most of us row (we hope) at welcoming rowing programs and clubs.  If you would feel comfortable recommending your club to someone in the LGBTQ community, then add your club name and URL and add some text, in your own words. 

Once you add your club’s listing to Share A Link, the data is instantly accessible for our Rowing Enquiries feature where we promote rowing to the LGBTQ community.  The links are instantly available as a feature for Groups – check out these examples: Boston Gay Rowers, WHOars, and Crew New York.
