The Gay + Lesbian Rowing Federation will host our fifth indoor rowing event, an ergatta, on Sunday 18 January 2026, in Las Vegas. The Sin City Erg is presented for the worldwide LGBTQ+ indoor and outdoor rowing community, age 13 and over. The event is inclusive to the broader rowing community and everyone is welcome so bring your straight teammates to compete! The ergatta is part of the Sin City Classic, the largest annual LGBTQ+ multi-sport event in the world.

 

If you're looking at the tags and wondering what the 2X, 4X and 8+ is all about, that's because this event is offering standard individual races as well as team events.  Everyone registers, then we get a line up for the team events and plug it in the computer.  The race runs just like an individual race, except the lineup for each boat is calculated by the computer to show the combined time of the team boat compared to other team boats.  First across the line wins, just like on the water.  Sounds like a great challenge for university teams, for junior teams, for club teams ....

The EuroGames Stockholm 2015 Rowing Championship will be co-organized with Stockholm Rowing Federation at Sweden's top rowing track, Magelungen. The track is situated in south of Stockholm near by the golf track, great for those who want to enjoy the both.<br /><br />The course is 1,000 meters.

The rowing competition will be held at the new world class rowing venue at Ile-de Vaires-Torcy, forty kilometers from Paris. The regatta will offer open categories for ages 18 - 26 and masters categories for ages 27 +. As of 15 June 2017, registration has not been opened. Word on the dock is that it should open in the next 2 - 4 weeks. More information on boat rentals will be forthcoming. One boat manufacturer is already tapped to provide boat rentals.

The regatta was held on Saturday, 31 July, from 1500h - 1900h. The events were all inclusive, from beginners to champions. Rowers were generally segregated by age. Boats were provided although anyone was welcome to bring their own. The racing programme is attached as a file.

Stonewall Regatta XII The DC Strokes Rowing Club presents the 12th Annual Stonewall Regatta. Crews from the US, Canada, and the World are invited to participate. Boat rentals will be available.
