Daniel Trojanowski: znamy swoją wartość

Jutro zawodnicy męskiej ósemki spotkają się na zgrupowaniu w Wałczu. - Rozpoczynamy ostatni etap przygotowań do igrzysk olimpijskich w Rio de Janeiro - mówi sternik naszej osady, Daniel Trojanowski.

Przed tygodniem w regatach o Puchar Świata Polacy zajęli czwarte miejsce - 5.32,37. Wygrały Niemcy 5.22,60. - Na pewno strata do zwycięzców była zbyt duża. Jednak pamiętajmy, że nasz pierwszy szczyt formy miał przyjść przed miesiącem kiedy była walka o awans do igrzysk. Jutro na początek zgrupowania będzie spotkanie z trenerem. Każdy wypowie się o swoich odczuciach na temat startu w Poznaniu - powiedział Daniel Trojanowski.

Daniel Trojanowski przypomina, że do rozpoczęcia Letnich Igrzysk Olimpijskich w Rio de Janeiro (5-21 sierpnia) pozostał niewiele ponad miesiąc. - Atmosfera w naszej osadzie jest dobra, dużo lepsza niż na początku tego roku. Osada zna swoją wartość. Wierzymy w siebie. Teraz po prostu trzeba zakasać rękawy i zrobić wszystko, żeby jak najlepiej przygotować do najważniejszego startu czterolecia. Oby tylko obyło się bez kontuzji - podkreśla.

Po starcie w Poznaniu zawodnicy otrzymali kilka dni wolnego i był to czas, jak mówi Daniel Troianowski, "dla rodziny i siebie choć oczywiście o treningu wszyscy pamiętaliśmy."

William Smith College senior coxswain Susan Tuvell was recently named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Pocock All-America first team. A second team selection a year ago, she is the eighth two-time All-American in Heron history.
